Heating Instructions
Campfire or Barbeque: You’ll figure it out ’cause the joeys are great outdoors.
Microwave: heat joey for 60 seconds on high. Frozen pies can be heated in the microwave for 90 seconds. Microwave ovens vary in power. You may have to experiment with longer heating times.
Conventional Oven(recommended): place a joey in an oven at 400° for 8 ~ 10 minutes. Frozen joey should be heated in a microwave or allowed to thaw in your frig then heat as directed at 400°. Adjust time for your appliances.

Heating the joeys in a toaster oven, a toaster made to accept bagels or a preheated conventional oven at 400° for approximately 8-10 minutes. This gives the joeys a nice crispy crust.
You can eat joeys at room temperature, because they’ve already been baked. That, combined with their portability, is what makes joeys ideal for taking to work or on outdoor excursions like picnics, hikes, and bike rides.
